Job summary
A leading global steel and mining company seeks an experienced engineer to provide support through reliability processes in the automated Steelmaking unit in Alabama. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline, proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance, and at least 2 years of engineering experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills and facilitate equipment maintenance plans while ensuring a safe work environment. Qualifications
- Proficient in conducting FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
- Minimum of 2 years engineering experience in a relevant field.
- Working knowledge of RCFA, cause mapping, and Kaizen problem-solving methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for the maintenance team.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures.
- Initiate solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
Skills
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Data analysis on equipment performance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong decision-making skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
