Job summary

A leading global steel and mining company seeks an experienced engineer to provide support through reliability processes in the automated Steelmaking unit in Alabama. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline, proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance, and at least 2 years of engineering experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills and facilitate equipment maintenance plans while ensuring a safe work environment. Qualifications

• Proficient in conducting FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
• Minimum of 2 years engineering experience in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of RCFA, cause mapping, and Kaizen problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the maintenance team.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures.
• Initiate solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime.

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
