Immediate Opening in our Memphis Fabrication Shop. Supervisor with experience in metal fabrication, welding, painting, warehouse & shipping. Apply a "New Thinking" approach including quality & process improvement to support business growth and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Direct supervision of welding, fabrication, finishing, warehouse & shipping workers in the production of steel storage tanks to meet customer requirements, STI, and UL specifications. Utilizes Newberry production ticket system for hourly employees. Supports manufacturing and sales staff with activities dedicated to producing a quality product at the lowest possible cost; investigates manufacturing process problems; identifies root cause, develops action plan to correct and prevent future occurrences; works with sales & suppliers. Directs maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, energy management, utilities, facilities and grounds; may purchase or approve the purchase of raw materials and MRO supplies; responsible for safety compliance. Familiar with ERP production control, scheduling, materials management, shipping & receiving.

This is a smaller company environment. We're seeking a high degree of self motivation and both a strategic mindset and hands on style. Lean, Six Sigma, and quality systems knowledge and experience a plus.
