Job summary

Big Sky Service is seeking skilled carpenters with experience in commercial construction to join our team in Wisconsin. You will read blueprints, lay out framing, measure and install metal framing, and ensure work complies with codes and safety standards.

We value reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work independently on projects across Michigan and neighboring states. We offer competitive pay based on experience, health benefits after 90 days with BCBS plans, dental and vision coverage,

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow safety procedures.
• Motivated, self-disciplined and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, place and join studs using steel materials.
• Install metal framing.
• Notify the supervisor of any equipment deficiencies.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep work area clean.
• Other duties as required.
