QPS Employment Group is seeking a Structural Assembler in North Houston for 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves assembling structural components used in power distribution and packaged equipment systems, following blueprints and job specs.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, measure and fit parts, and operate hand and power tools safely. The position requires basic blueprint reading, tool handling skills, and ability to work on-site with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural assembly, fabrication, or similar hands-on environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to determine assembly requirements.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble structural components per drawings.
• Assemble frames, bases, platforms, supports and other components used in equipment and electrical systems.
• Use hand tools and power tools (drills, grinders, torque tools) to complete assemblies.
• Verify dimensions, alignment and quality; communicate issues to Lead or Supervisor.
• Follow production drawings and quality procedures; maintain clean, safe workspace.
