Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a dedicated Utility Slitter Operator at our Granite City, IL facility to operate and maintain slitting machines and ensure high-quality output. You will contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing team and uphold safety and accuracy in every cut.

You will monitor machine performance, adjust settings, perform routine maintenance, document production data, and assist in training new operators to ensure smooth, efficient production workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Previous experience as a slitter operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
