Job summary

Tindall Corporation is seeking a warehouse/steel shop laborer to support material handling and preparation for fabrication. You will move rebar, flat stock, and related materials from storage to rollers, set up lengths, and assist with unloading trucks and punch operations.

Responsibilities include handling various metal stock, operating the iron worker where required, stacking materials, and keeping the work area clean and safe. Prior shop experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Safety‑minded with ability to follow detailed instructions and shop cards.

Responsibilities

• Move different types of rebar, flat stock, angle, wire mesh, coil rod, and channel from storage to rollers and cut to prescribed lengths.
• Assist in unloading incoming trucks for the steel shop.
• Set jig to required length and hand feed material into iron worker.
• Shear and punch holes in various metal stock as required by work orders.
• Stack material on pallets or carts and prepare for different jobs or pours.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and dispose of scrap metal.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
