Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Mesa, AZ seeks a hands-on team player to support daily metal processing operations. The role involves reading blueprints, handling materials, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will work hands-on with post lines, stock handling, and safety procedures to ensure efficient production and accuracy. The position offers Day 1 benefits, PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.
• Able to stand for up to 12 hours and perform physical tasks.
• Dependability in attendance and task completion.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist and remove sheared post from the T-Post line.
• Crop shears the ends of the T-Stock to ensure highest quality.
• Use straightener and visually evaluate straightness of bar, making adjustments as needed.
• Move materials using forklifts and ensure quality of sheared posts.
• Communicate production issues or needs effectively.
• Understand start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
