Viking Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on production operator to support steel pipe fabrication, machine operation, pipe preparation, and material movement in our fabrication shop.

The role includes welding support, quality inspection, and general shop duties, with on-the-job training provided for equipment operation, production processes, and safety procedures. Qualifications

• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate fabrication and production equipment (plasma cutting, cold saws, threading, grooving, grinders).
• Support fabrication, welding, machine operation, robotics, and material handling.
• Cut, groove, thread, grind, and prepare steel pipe and materials to specs.
• Assist with plasma cutting, welding support, and automated fabrication processes.
• Read work orders and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Visually inspect welds and finished products for defects and conformance.
• Perform finishing, grinding, deburring, and general fabrication tasks.
• Move steel pipe, fittings, and materials through the production process.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and staging.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after training.
• Troubleshoot minor production or machine issues and report concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe fabrication area and comply with SOPs.
• Complete required safety and training programs.
• Support additional production needs as directed by leadership.
