Job summary

Thompson Fabrication is seeking a Painter Helper for a full-time role in Wheatland, PA. You will prepare steel containers by cleaning, grinding weld splatter, and removing impurities before painting, ensuring surfaces are ready for coating.

Responsibilities include washing containers with a phosphate system and clearing residues with a high-pressure air line. The position requires 1–3 years in manufacturing and ability to lift up to 65 lbs, working Monday through Friday on first shift.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean steel roll off containers prior to painting.
• Remove weld splatter and impurities with an angle grinder.
