Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable Fabricator to join our steel manufacturing team. You will fabricate, weld, and assemble structural steel components per engineering specifications and shop drawings.

Experience with heavy steel, welding equipment, and fabrication tools is preferred, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, and an hourly wage of $17.00–$20.00.

Qualifications

• Read shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate MIG/TIG/GMAW welding processes on heavy steel.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel with hand/power tools.
• Work safely with fabrication equipment and PPE.
• Accurately interpret dimensions and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel using hand tools, power tools, torches, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG, GMAW welding on heavy steel components.
• Operate plasma cutters, robotic welders, drills, cranes, and oxy-fuel torches.
• Assemble steel components per project specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections for dimensional accuracy and workmanship.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues with production teams.
• Maintain tools and work areas to safety standards.
