Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator in the Detroit area. The role focuses on fabricating steel components for industrial and foundry applications, performing MIG welding, and reading job specs to ensure precise results.

You will work a 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM day shift in a small shop, with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package. This position requires independence and a strong fabrication background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on steel fabrication experience.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Experience drilling, bending, forming, fitting, and working with steel.
• Ability to complete fabrication work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a small manufacturing environment where employees take ownership of their work.
• Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment.
• Dependable work history and interest in a long-term opportunity.

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Range: Up to $30.00/hour, based on experience

A specialized Detroit-area manufacturer serving the foundry industry is looking to add experienced Steel Fabricators to its growing team.

The company operates in a highly specialized segment of the manufacturing industry and is experiencing strong demand with a significant backlog of work. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator who enjoys hands-on work, wants a steady day-shift schedule, and is comfortable working independently in a smaller shop environment.

This is not an entry-level welding position. Candidates should have a strong overall steel fabrication background and be capable of contributing with minimal training.
