Job summary

Premiere Steel Fabricator in Catasauqua, PA is seeking a Steel Fabricator/Press Operator. The role covers reading blueprints, performing bends, and ensuring quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Experience with angle roll, forming machines, plate rolls, and brake presses is preferred.

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong mechanical aptitude and steel fabrication background advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in steel fabrication.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong blueprint reading ability.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Able to safely operate shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine measurements.
• Perform bends as defined by production requirements.
• Perform quality checks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Safely operate machines including overhead crane, press brake, angle and plate roll.

7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay: $22+ per hour depending on experience

Premiere Steel Fabricatorofcustom and specialized work.

Essential Dutiesfor aPress Operator / Fabricator:

Excellent attendance and on-time record Read blue prints and determine measurements Performbends asdefined by productionrequirements Perform quality checks Maintain clean work area Ability to safely operate machines including overhead crane, press brake, angle and plate roll machines, etc.

Requirements for Steel Fabricator:

• 1+ yearexperience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• High mechanical aptitude
• Blueprint reading skills required
• Previous work experience in steel fabrication
