Job summary

Big Top Manufacturing, LLC, Perry, Florida, seeks a Steel Fabrication Operator to support production of high‑performance fabric structures. You will report to the Steel Fabrication Supervisor and focus on meeting daily objectives with punctual attendance and strong safety discipline.

This role requires reading complex sketches, measuring and marking tubing, minimizing waste, and maintaining equipment. Overtime may be required to hit production goals; occasional training on safety and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Strong time management to meet production schedules.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and perform decimal/inch math.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Read and verify complex sketches prior to producing parts.
• Verify tube size matches the sketch before running.
• Measure and accurately mark tubing for production.
• Accurately count number of pieces ran.
• Minimize material waste.
• Responsible for care and preventive maintenance of the equipment in use.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report violations or accidents.
