Job summary
Alberici is seeking a Project Manager (Structural Steel Fabrication) in Hillsdale, MO to lead major steel fabrication projects from award through completion. You will coordinate engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection, and financials to meet quality, safety and client expectations.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of PM experience in steel fabrication, heavy industrial construction, or steel erection.
Qualifications
- Understanding fabrication drawings, welding codes, and erection sequencing.
- Experience managing steel fabrication, heavy industrial projects, or steel erection.
- Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of steel fabrication projects from planning to closeout.
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with engineering, detailing, and shop production teams to meet requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to control costs and delivery.
- Review change orders, invoices, and project billing.
- Monitor project performance and report to senior leadership.
- Ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
- Build strong client and partner relationships.
