Qualifications

• Experience preparing estimates, placing material orders, and handling invoicing in steel fabrication or construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel and high‑voltage equipment
• Basic understanding of structural and electrical design principles
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software
• Excellent written communication and exceptional attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints, specifications, and bid documents into clear, accurate estimates.
• Prepare material takeoffs and consult with engineers and detailers.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing and availability.
• Draft detailed proposals and follow up with clients to secure awarded work.
• Build preliminary schedules and organize digital project files.
