Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Structural Steel Ironworker Foreman to lead on-site crews, coordinate manpower and equipment, ensure safety measures, and maintain productivity to meet project schedules.

The role requires strong English communication, rigging and signaling knowledge, and familiarity with structural steel fabrication and installation standards. Applicants must uphold safety practices and participate in weekly safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English in oral and written form.
• Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling.
• Familiarity with transit, laser level, torpedo, torque guns, welders, gas-supplied equipment, rigging, and components.
• Knowledge of AISC standards.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Complete jobs on time and within budget.
• Hold a weekly site safety meeting.
• Prepare a 3-week look-ahead schedule weekly.
• Attend on-site project meetings (safety, quality, scheduling, production).
• Issue corrective action notices to enforce company and/or project guidelines and policies.

The Structural Steel Ironworker Foreman provides the site leadership and is responsible for manpower and equipment planning, coordinating, supervising, ensuring safety measures are adhered to, and maintaining productivity of crews while meeting project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Complete jobs on time and within budget.
• Hold a documented site safety meeting on a weekly basis.
• Complete a 3‑week look‑ahead schedule on a weekly basis.
• Attend all on‑site project meetings (safety, quality, scheduling, production, etc.).
• Issue corrective action notices as required to enforce company and/or project guidelines and policies.
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
