Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking two experienced Steel Checkers for an on-site role at the Friendswood, TX office serving the Houston area.

This role focuses on detailing and checking structural steel drawings only, with no RFIs, PM coordination, or clerical management, allowing you to concentrate on the work. You will check shop and erection drawings on a variety of commercial projects, and experience with Tekla is preferred while SDS2 experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience checking steel detailing work.
• Tekla experience preferred; SDS2 experience welcome. Tekla training provided within the first year.

Job description

A structural steel company is adding two experienced Steel Checkers to its team. The position is on-site at their Friendswood, TX office in the Houston area. It's detailing and checking only, with no RFIs, no PM coordination and no clerical management, so you can focus completely on the work.
