Cardinal Systems Inc. is seeking a CNC Punch Operator to cut and notch pool panels and interact with ERP systems. The role emphasizes quality control and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

The position operates on the 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities within a family-owned company that has served customers for over 45 years.

• Previous forklift operation experience required
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Start up, shut down, and operate various CNC punches.
• Operate and maintain Manufacturing Processing Equipment using hand and power tools.
• Meet production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to gain efficiencies and become self-sufficient.
• Coach and train new hires on equipment.
• Continue to exceed production requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow all company work instructions, production standards, safety procedures, quality procedures, production procedures in English.
• Follow Global Shop procedures (clocking in/out, daily production, material transfers, inventory checks, daily tasks).
• Maintain a level of quality that meets or exceeds the company quality initiative; suggest efficiency improvements.
• Complete knowledge of all work-centers.
• Fill out production and quality data sheets correctly and accurately.

In addition to steel walls, we manufacture steel steps and benches, aluminum coping, liner track, deck drains, liner bead and other custom fabrications.

As a CNC Punch Operator, you are an integral part of our organization. CNC Punch Operator, you are an integral part of our organization. The foundation of each swimming pool we manufacture is made up of steel walls. You will cut and notch these pool panels to custom specifications. Building the ability to interact with our ERP systems is a key job function. Every employee is responsible for quality control; you help us make the best products in the industry.

Essential Functions of a CNC Punch Operator:

• Must be able to start up, shut down, and operate various CNC punches.
• Must be able to operate and maintain all Manufacturing Processing Equipment using various hand and power tools.
• Operate machines at a rate which will meet scheduled production requirements as well as maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Learn how to troubleshoot equipment issues when a problem arises to gain efficiencies as well as becoming self-sufficient.
• Coaches and trains new hires on equipment
• Continues to exceed production requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow all company work instructions, production standards, safety procedures, quality procedures, production procedures in English

• Be able to fill out production and quality data sheets correctly and accurately.
