Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. in St. Joseph, Missouri, seeks a Commodity Manager – Steel to develop and execute sourcing strategies for steel components and manage supplier relationships across manufacturing operations.

You will negotiate supply agreements, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure supply continuity and optimal total cost. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in procurement or related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute steel sourcing strategies for manufacturing operations.
