Mill Steel Company in Houston, TX is seeking motivated production team members to join our plant workforce. We will train you across various roles including overhead crane operation, shipping/receiving, and slitting & packaging of steel coils to build experience for your career.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with increases based on experience, plus company-paid health benefits and onsite Mill Steel University trainings.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Lift truck experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Basic computer skills (data entry/retrieval).
• Must be able to stand for more than 8 hours per day.
• Be willing and able to work overtime as necessary.
• Sense of humor!

Aufgaben

• Operate cranes and other equipment as necessary.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving services.
• Slitting and packaging steel coils.
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits and housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Follow all processes and procedures.
• Be willing and able to work overtime as necessary.
• Assist in other areas on an as-needed basis.
