Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a first-shift Warehouse Associate for our Cusseta, AL plant to receive, store and move raw materials using a forklift or overhead crane.

You will maintain accurate material inventory, follow safety procedures and support overall plant flow. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift/crane experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours daily.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience required.
• Overhead crane experience required.
• Experience in stamping industry desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and store properly.
• Distribute raw materials using a forklift or overhead crane.
• Keep track of material inventory.

Who We Want

Responsible for inspection and installation of steel coils used for production.

What You\'ll Do

• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and store properly


• Distribute raw materials by using a forklift or overhead crane


• Keep track of material inventory

When and Where

This will be a 1st shift Monday- Thursday position located at our Plant in Cusseta, AL. Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

What You Need to Have

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.


• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.


• High School diploma or equivalent
