GPAC has partnered with a reputable construction firm specializing in structural steel fabrication and erection to hire an Assistant Project Manager. The role supports projects from award through completion and requires 80%+ travel to active job sites, ensuring coordination between field teams and clients.

We seek a candidate with 2+ years in construction, excellent organization and communication, and the ability to read construction drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel 80%+.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with construction project management software is a plus.
• Steel fabrication/erection experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with coordinating construction projects from award through completion.
• Travel to job sites to support field operations, project coordination, and customer needs.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and field crews.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Monitor project progress and help resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in job site visits and project meetings.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support projects from award through completion. Key Responsibilities
