Job summary

gpac seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support structural steel fabrication and erection projects from award through completion. This role requires 80%+ travel to active project sites and offers growth opportunities within a stable firm.

You will assist with schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and documentation while coordinating with clients, GC and subcontractors. Strong communication and reading drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel 80%+.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Construction project management software experience is a plus.
• Steel fabrication/erection experience is helpful but not required.
