Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Steam Plant Operator to oversee steam distribution, HVAC, and building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain steam equipment and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure efficient and safe steam distribution across facilities.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on building mechanical systems.
  • Monitor wastewater and boiler operations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in HVAC and steam systems.
  • Proficiency in boiler operation and maintenance.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with HVAC engineering and steam equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Boiler license.
  • Completion of an approved, accredited apprenticeship (4-year program) in HVAC, along with at least 3 years of journey-person level on-the-job experience.
  • Graduation from a trade-specific vocational school (2-year program) in HVAC, with 5 years of journey-person level on-the-job experience.
  • Completion of a trade-specific military school or corporate training program, with 5 years of journey-person level on-the-job experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $86,923 per year.
