Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and in-service hours as required by state licensing agencies or accrediting bodies.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Minimum age 18 and able to meet education and experience standards set by licensing and accreditation bodies.

Responsibilities

• Follows daily schedule and implements curriculum with English communication.
• Maintains accurate child observation records and notes for parent/teacher conferences.
• Conducts formal and informal assessments to track development.
• Ensure safety and order in classroom and play areas.
• Communicates with families in a polite and respectful manner.
• Supervises all children and maintains a safe environment.
• Opens and closes classroom as required; assists with meal and snack times.
• Supports accreditation goals and participates in required training.
