Amazing Explorers Academy in Tampa, FL is seeking a Lead Teacher to oversee a preschool classroom and implement our developmentally appropriate curriculum, promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth for every child. You will maintain safety and order, document observations, and engage families while collaborating with fellow teachers.

All required training is provided, with ample opportunities for personal growth within the organization.

Competenze

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and in-service hours.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer experience in a licensed or accredited child care center.
• Prefer staff credential or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Follows daily schedule and implements curriculum, communicating in English.
• Maintains accurate child observation records and notes for parent/teacher conferences.
• Conducts formal and informal assessments to track developmental progress.
• Interacts with children and models appropriate behavior in classroom and playground.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with families.
• Follows safety policies and documents incidents.
• Maintains attendance records using digital tools and updates families.
• Maintains safe, clean learning environments and reports hazards.
