Job summary

codeCampus is seeking a Lead Instructor to work in the Lawndale area for the current school year. You will lead STEAM projects, teach TK-8th grade students using our curriculum, and build trusted relationships with parents and students.

This role is great for educators at any stage, with training provided. The schedule is Mon-Wed 2:30pm–6:00pm and Thu 1:00pm–6:00pm, with additional duties as assigned. Compensation is $25.00 per hour, paid training included.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.
• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum.
• Teach students in grades TK-8th.
• Create relationships with parents and students that build on trust and respect.
• Create a safe environment for the students.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area.
