Job summary

codeCampus is seeking a Lead Instructor in the Inglewood area for the current school year at Kelso Elementary. You will work with site staff to lead STEAM projects, teach TK-8th students, and foster trust-based relationships with families.

The role starts training immediately (paid) with ongoing professional development. Compensation is $25.00/hr, with pay raises based on performance and time with the company.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Availability: Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm; schedule may vary with school timetable.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects and activities for students using our curriculum.
• Teach students in grades TK-8th.
• Build relationships with parents and students based on trust and respect.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with site staff at partner schools.
