Tewksbury Hospital, part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking a licensedSteam Fireman CoGento play an essential role in maintaining the continuous operation of high- and low-pressure boiler systems, satellite boilers, and cogeneration equipment that support a dynamic campus environment. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced mechanical systems while ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and system integrity.

This position is 40 hours on first shift, working 7am-3:30pm. The days off are Saturday and Sunday.
Tewksbury Hospital under the Department of Public Health (DPH),is a 370 bed Joint Commission accredited hospital. The hospital provides broad treatment of care and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illnesses. Tewksbury Hospital offers a broad range of services including a physician on site at all times, around-the-clock nursing care, rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, psychology services, social services, nutritional services, and an on-site dialysis clinic.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a current and valid First or Second Class Steam Firemans license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety, pursuant to Chapter 146 of the Massachusetts General Laws.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
