Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a friendly Food & Beverage Server to welcome guests, take orders, deliver meals and process payments in our casino dining venues.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of F&B service experience, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and communicate clearly in English. Training includes operating a computerized guest check system and maintaining dining room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Process orders using a computerized guest check system.
• Deliver prepared orders to guests from the kitchen.
• Present check, collect payment, and/or deliver to cashier.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Balance trays and/or push cart of food and beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service.
