Job summary

Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage seeks a part-time Food & Beverage host to provide friendly service, including counter service, cashier duties, and guest seating. You will answer phones, handle basic complaints, and stay informed about F&B offerings and hours of operation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, prior cash handling and dining room host experience is preferred, California ABC Lead Training completion, and the ability to obtain a Riverside County Health Department

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous cash handling and dining room host experience preferred.
• Attend and complete California Department of ABC Lead Training Program.
• Must be able to obtain Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.

Responsibilities

• May perform food and beverage counter service including order taking, packing and food delivery.
• Input and control ordering through register for each transaction, maintaining accountability for all food and drinks served.
• Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage.
• Seat guests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner while ensuring equal distribution of guests among servers.
• Answer phones and directs calls appropriately.
• Handle initial complaints and inform manager on duty.
• Remain up-to-date on food and beverage offerings and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
• Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
• Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also will be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escape when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
