St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, Arkansas, seeks a Patient Care Technician Trainee to support licensed nursing staff and participate in the PCT training program. During various shifts, you will perform assigned patient care activities under direct supervision and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment in a hospital setting.
Overtime and call-back may be required. Eligibility includes completion of high school or equivalent and successful completion of the St.
Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics as acquired through official completion of high school or its equivalent. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as acquired through completion of the St. Bernards PCT Trainee program.
Experience
Knowledge of patient care technician practices and related patient care activities and hospital policies and procedures as acquired through on-the-job training. Knowledge of basic non-technical skills as acquired through on-the-job training.

Various shifts. After completion of the St. Bernards PCT Trainee Program, responsible for performing assigned patient care activities and assisting licensed nursing personnel. Under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Manager or designee, responsible for assigned areas. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by facility.
