NIDEC Defense Group in Mankato, MN, is seeking candidates for a first shift position. You will insulate, wind, and hook-up stators for motors and generators, following specified procedures and using hand and power tools as required.

Six thousand hours of experience are needed to build the necessary skills, with supervision provided as described. The role requires vocational or high school completion and formal training or equivalent on-the-job training in electrical/mechanical principles.

Days of Work: Monday - Thursday

Work Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Work Location: On-site (Mankato, MN)

Starting Salary: $24.58 to $28.57 hourly

Job Description

Insulate, wind and hook-up stators for motors and generators. Follow methods and procedures as outlined in specifications. Uses hand and power tools as required (see section 11(e)). Normal supervision. Six thousand (6,000) hours experience required to acquire basic skills. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Vocational or high school graduate plus a formal training program or equivalent on-the-job training required to obtain sufficient knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles, assembly applications, designs, materials, equipment, methods, and procedures.

Must be a sole US citizen.
