Union College invites applications for the Donald C. Brate ’45-Stanley G. Peschel ’52 Assistant Professorship in Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2027.

PhD in statistics by September 2027 is required and strong teaching credentials in undergraduate statistics are expected. This tenure-track position involves teaching two courses per trimester with one course release during the first year and developing courses that may contribute to interdisciplinary programs

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics by September 2027.
• Strong teaching credentials in undergraduate statistics.
• A record of scholarly achievement indicating ongoing scholarship.

Responsibilities
