Job summary

Monmouth University is seeking an Adjunct Professor in the Mathematics department to support the Statistics program. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus, with 3–6 credits per semester and scheduling based on needs and candidate availability.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. This is a part-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3–6 credits during the semester.
• Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions and assignments in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic success.
• Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner.
