Santa Fe College is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Statistics to develop, prepare, and teach a variety of statistics courses. The role offers day, evening, and online formats, including distance learning.

Compensation is per semester credit hour and per clock/contact hour, with part-time instructional service provided. The successful candidate will design curriculum, assess student progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with the Mathematics Chair and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or mathematical physics or a Master's with at least 18 graduate semester hours.
• Criminal background check will be conducted.
• Preferred teaching experience in a community college setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and delivers instruction to didactic, laboratory and/or classroom settings.
• Promotes student success and supports college missions through quality instruction.
• Collaborates with Chair, faculty, and peers to revise curriculum.
• Demonstrates technological literacy in delivery of instruction.
• Maintains records including attendance, grading, and student learning outcomes.
