Job summary

UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time Statistician to become familiar with the databases, classify polypharmacy medications and comorbidities in Medicare data to summarize at the center level for study outcomes.

You will transform databases for each outcome, link datasets across sites, check for inconsistencies, assist with missing data analyses, and help create tables and figures for manuscripts while writing up results for dissemination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 2 years of experience in analysis and presentation of statistical data.
• Proficiency in SAS software programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data management of Medicare data in preparation for statistical analyses and reports.
• Performs statistical analyses from both large and small samples of data.
• Creates tables and figures for manuscripts and reports.
• Links and harmonizes datasets across sites to support center-level analyses.
