Department Overview
Position Summary
Provides statistical support to multiple research studies simultaneously, to include assistance in the establishment of data collection instruments and protocol, data analysis/manipulation and management, computer systems/applications programming and analysis, and reporting.
Location (e.g. remote or on-site): Minneapolis Hybrid
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. PhD preferred.
Experience:
:• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Knowledge of SAS or SPSS programming and/or other statistical software
• Functional Knowledge of RedCap
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Ability to plan, create, program and manage complex statistical computer databases.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
*Ability to apply a range of standard statistical techniques in support of scientific research studies and/or experiments.
*Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
*Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
*Knowledge of programming logic and codes.
*Knowledge of statistical sampling and survey methodology.
*Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
*Knowledge of statistical research principles, methods, and procedures.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
