Statistical Test and Analysis Technique (STAT)/Design of Experiments (DOE) Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced STAT/DOE Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Author, design, and apply DOE and Combinatorial Testing (CT) for test case design.
• Author, design, and apply STAT to test events.
• Create scripts to automate STAT/DOE test cases.
• Maximize test coverage for critical system features.
• Document STAT/DOE processes, including test plans, procedures, and cases.
• Design and develop test frameworks for STAT/DOE.
• Identify suitable testing scenarios for STAT/DOE application.
• Experience with STAT/DOE software tools.
• Implement statistically unbiased test methodologies, especially for Tactical Data Link (TDL) message conformance.
• Set up, deploy, and operate STAT/DOE testing tools.
• Perform V&V of STAT/DOE tools.
• Develop scripts using Java, PHP, or Python.
• Contribute to test reports, ensuring accurate reflection of data and analysis.

Qualifications:

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in applying STAT/DOE methodologies and tools.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, PHP, or Python.
• Understanding of the test and evaluation process.
• Ability to determine when and how to apply STAT/DOE effectively.
• Ability to analyze system requirements for STAT/DOE application.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging technical processes and methodologies.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Desired Position Qualifications:

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Hands-on experience with STAT/DOE tools like Design Expert, ACTS, JMP, or MS Excel.
• Experience with System of Systems (SoS) testing.
