Job summary

Berkeley Industrial Engineering & Operations Research offers a Future Talent Program internship in the BARDS division for 10-12 weeks with one or more projects. The internship develops statistical analysis and reporting deliverables under the guidance of a senior programmer, across our Research Labs.

Interns will analyze datasets and prepare tables, listings, and graphics while collaborating with scientists and health authorities to support decision-making on drugs and vaccines.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled and have completed two semesters toward a Master's in CS/DS, Stats, or engineering.
• Must commit to full-time hybrid for 10-12 weeks starting June 2027.
• Must have data analysis experience and programming skills.
• Must be willing to learn programming languages and techniques.
• Must be able to collaborate on a team, take direction, and complete tasks on time.
