Job summary

Cytel is seeking a recent graduate to join as a Statistical Programmer, embedded with a pharmaceutical client, supporting trials from Phase I–IV. You will leverage your SAS skills to manipulate, analyze, and report clinical data, while preparing submission-ready packages.

You will work within a globally dispersed team, with training and mentorship from Cytel, to develop your programming expertise and contribute to patient-centered research.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of Undergraduate study and 2 additional years of Graduate-level education.
  • Academic training in Statistics, Epidemiology, or Data Science.
  • Academic training in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computational Science.
  • Foundational data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with drug development life cycle and a passion to learn and expand knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team with cross-cultural partners.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to provide quality output and deliverables, in adherence with challenging timelines.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and follow Company’s standard processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively learn and perform statistical programming and related tasks

Responsibilities

  • Perform data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data using SAS.
  • Create and validate datasets, analysis files, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
  • Generate ad-hoc reports.
  • Prepare and validate submission packages.
  • Apply understanding of efficacy analysis.
  • Serve as team player, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Recent Graduate to perform and act as a Statistical Programmer, where you will leverage your education to develop and expand programming skills, supporting one or more Phase I-IV clinical trials. This is a great opportunity to start a career in Clinical Life Sciences, supported by Cytel and embedded in a trusted partner.

As a Statistical Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data, both safety and efficacy, utilizing SAS programming

  • Applying your SAS programming skills, to create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings, and figures ( TLF s)

  • Generating ad-hoc reports

  • Preparing and validating submission packages

  • Applying your understanding/experience with Efficacy analysis

  • Serving as team player, with a willingness to go the extra distance to get results, meet deadlines, etc.

  • Being adaptable and flexible when priorities change
