Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Recent Graduate Statistical Programmer to join an embedded role with one of our pharmaceutical clients in Boise, Idaho. You will develop and expand SAS-based programming skills supporting Phase I–IV trials, with autonomy and ownership over tasks.

You will manipulate data, create datasets, tables, listings, and figures, generate ad-hoc reports, and prepare submission packages while collaborating with a globally dispersed team and meeting tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of undergraduate study and 2 additional years of graduate education.
  • Academic training in Statistics, Epidemiology, or Data Science.
  • Academic training in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computational Science.
  • Foundational data manipulation, analysis and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with drug development life cycle and a passion to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team with cross-cultural partners.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver quality output within challenging timelines.
  • Willingness to learn and follow Cytel's standard processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data using SAS.
  • Create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
  • Generate ad-hoc reports.
  • Prepare and validate submission packages.
  • Apply understanding/experience with efficacy analysis.
  • Be a team player and meet deadlines amid changing priorities.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Recent Graduate to perform and act as a Statistical Programmer, where you will leverage your education to develop and expand programming skills, supporting one or more Phase I-IV clinical trials. This is a great opportunity to start a career in Clinical Life Sciences, supported by Cytel and embedded in a trusted partner.

As a Statistical Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data, both safety and efficacy, utilizing SAS programming

  • Applying your SAS programming skills, to create and validate datasets/analysis files, tables, listings, and figures ( TLF s)

  • Generating ad-hoc reports

  • Preparing and validating submission packages

  • Applying your understanding/experience with Efficacy analysis

  • Serving as team player, with a willingness to go the extra distance to get results, meet deadlines, etc.

  • Being adaptable and flexible when priorities change
