Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is hiring a Stationary Engineer at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. The role is part-time/per diem with a varied schedule and rotating shifts to support hospital operations.

You will operate and maintain mechanical equipment, including boilers and auxiliaries, to ensure reliable heat, light and power for patient care and services. Preference given to candidates with a Class A license and facilities experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in facilities/operations is preferred.
• Class A Stationary Engineer License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment.
• Operate compressors, generators and steam boilers to provide heat, light, power for hospital services.
• Repair and maintain machinery according to diagrams, manuals and specs.

As a Stationary Engineer you will:

• Operate and maintain mechanical equipment
• Be responsible for the operation of compressors, generators and steam boilers in order to provide the hospital with heat, light and power for refrigeration, air conditioning and other services.
• Repair and maintain this machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, schematics, operation manuals and manufacturers’ specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Experience in facilities/operations (preferred)
• Class "A" Stationary Engineer License is (preferred)
