  • Adheres to regulatory and code requirements; maintains and operates Co-Generation and associated equipment.
  • Adheres to regulatory and code requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by management and department needs.
  • Ensures safe and reliable operation of central plant equipment.

Job Summary

Maintains major equipment in the central plant; chillers, boilers, and associated equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains and operates boilers, chillers and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to regulatory and code requirements. Maintains and operates Co-Generation and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to regulatory and code requirements.
  • At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs
  • Performs related duties as required
Qualifications

Required

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification: Possess, or be able to obtain within 6 months from date of hire: Licensure as required by state law.

Preferred

  • Education: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
  • Experience: Three years of experience with a mechanical contractor or experience as a stationary engineer in a commercial or hospital service environment.
