Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant machinery and systems operate within design specs and respond to issues.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, fire alarm, and emergency electrical systems; diagnose problems.
• Respond quickly to alarms and keep accurate records of plant events.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE appropriately.
• Perform basic inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Increase knowledge of machines and their operating characteristics.
• Carry out emergency procedures and power readiness; perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Summary: Salary: Most new hires start between $18.30-$22.80 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

We currently have five (5) openings for this position across the following shifts:

• Three (3) openings: First Shift — 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• One (1) opening: Second Shift — 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• One (1) opening: Third Shift — 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Required Education: No education requirements. Recommended Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Required Work Experience: Entry Level - Experience not Required.

• Boiler Operator License - Arkansas Department of Labor Boiler Operator's License Division, Industrial Maintenance

Responsibilities:

1. Ensures all plant machinery and systems are operating within design specs and takes appropriate action if not. Continuously monitors local indicators and building automation system to ensure proper operation of machinery and a stable supply of utilities.
2. Operates and maintains the HVAC, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, emergency electrical generation, medical gas, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Diagnoses equipment problems with the use of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting tools.
3. Responds quickly and effectively to alarms to minimize machinery damage and inconvenience to customers. Keeps accurate and detailed record of plant events.
4. Maintains knowledge of and practices all plant safety procedures. Understands the purpose and use of personal protection equipment.
5. Conducts basic inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on machinery in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.
6. Maintains and increases knowledge of machines/systems and their operating characteristics.
7. Possesses knowledge of emergency response procedures for all plant equipment/utilities, and demonstrates the ability to carry out procedures. Maintains emergency power system readiness at all times.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
