Job summary

Englewood Health, a leading healthcare system comprising Englewood Hospital and the Englewood Health Physician Network, seeks a Boiler Operator to perform mandatory rounds and inspections in the Boiler Plant, log daily activities, and ensure compliance with New Jersey state requirements. The position is based in Englewood, NJ, full-time with variable hours and shifts.

A Blue Seal Boiler License and at least three years of related experience, plus a strong commitment to safety and policy

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as a boiler operator.
• Blue Seal boiler license (or higher) required.
• Knowledge of NJ Boiler Operators safety standards and hand book.

Responsibilities

• Performs mandatory rounds and inspections within the Boiler Plant.
• Fills out the daily log book during each shift and state requirement sheets.
• Communicates with administration, directors, staff, patients and visitors; adheres to policies.

Job Summary

Performs mandatory rounds and inspections within the Boiler Plant. Fills out the daily log book during each shift. Fills out all mandatory State requirement sheets. Follows the State of New Jersey’s Boiler Operators responsibilities. Follows the Facilities Department and Englewood Health policies. Communicates with administration, directors, staff, patients and visitors. Exemplifies Standards of Service Excellence in all interactions with others.

• Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a boiler operator
• Must have successfully completed an up-to-date State of New Jersey boiler operator’s Blue Seal license course and test
• Must know the standards of safety as outlined in the State of New Jersey’s Boiler Operators Hand Book

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED and/or 3 years of documented work experience as a boileroperator/stationary engineer.

License/Certification/Registry:

• Blue Seal Boiler License or higher level required
