On-Board Services is Actively Recruiting for Stationary Engineers in St Louis!

Position Details:

Position Type: Full Time / Direct Placement
Job Location: St Louis, MO
Shifts: 11p to 7a (Mon - Thu) + every Sat 7a to 7p; OR 7p to 7a (Fri - Sun) + every other Thu 7a to 3p

Compensation: $39.25 per hour

Overview/Summary:

The Stationary Engineer will work in our Client's Sulfonation Department which manufactures surfactants via chemical processes.

1. Responsible for various results systems contribution to operational & organizational improvement.
2. Operate, control, regulate boiler operation, including troubleshooting boiler & boiler auxiliary problems.
3. Preventative maintenance on boilers & cooling towers & fire sprinkler system inspection & repair.
4. Facility upkeep, including grounds maintenance, HVAC Systems, Fire Protection Systems & plant wide Utility Systems.
5. Troubleshoot & repair all plant equipment using available resources.

Required Qualifications:

1. Must possess current Stationary Engineers License - Class 1 for the City of St. Louis.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial type maintenance or equivalent of technical schooling and experience.
3. Ideal candidate will have millwright experience and/or pipe fitting experience.
4. Basic capabilities in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding and machining.
5. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, piping schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings.
6. Basic experience with 120V power distribution systems as well as signal, control and communication.
7. Must be comfortable working around hazardous chemicals.
8. Availability to work overtime as needed (up to 60 hrs per week).
