Job Title

Stationary Engineer

Job Description Summary

Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the assigned property(s). Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, conducting routine assessments, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, painting, and housekeeping.

Job Description

1. Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requirements of the building(s).
2. Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems.
3. Monitor and adjust mechanical and pneumatic equipment, control gauges, valves, thermostats, and diffusers.
4. Perform repairs and adjustments based on field conditions.
5. Monitor Energy Management systems.
6. Conduct general repairs, including doors, ceilings, handrails, floors, and fixtures.
7. Perform preventive maintenance following standards and manufacturer recommendations.
8. Inspect equipment such as engine rooms, cooling towers, pumps, and emergency systems.
9. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including fire and life safety inspections.
10. Respond promptly to emergencies and customer concerns.
11. Document activities and report to supervisors.
12. Comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices.
13. Complete safety training and maintain a professional appearance.

Education

High School Diploma or GED. Trade school or apprenticeship program preferred.

Experience
