Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. is seeking a full-time Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain systems providing heat, air conditioning, and electricity at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia.
The role requires an Apprentice or Technical School graduate, 4th Class Power Engineering Operating Certification, and strong technical skills. Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance, along with retirement and disability insurance.

Pay: $36.00/hour plus fringe benefit of $11.60/hour ($8.60 H&W/$3.00 401(k) contribution)
Training Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Shift differential: 4% (2nd shift) or 6% (3rd shift) only if the majority of hours fall within the shift differential window.
The Stationary Engineer operates and maintains one or more systems that provide heat, air conditioning (cool, humidify, filter, and circulate air), refrigeration, steam or high‑temperature water, or electricity. Duties include observing and interpreting readings on gauges, meters, and charts to adjust controls for safe and efficient operation and to meet service demands; recording operational data in logs; keeping equipment in good working order; performing routine chiller maintenance on York chillers; starting, operating, and stopping machines per factory instructions; following proper maintenance schedules; and systematically communicating maintenance requirements such as tube punching, oil sampling, refrigerant recovery, and diagnostic analysis.
Ability to climb and work at heights; walk and stand for extended periods; lift, bend, push, and move objects up to 75 pounds; interpret plans, diagrams, blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications; operate specialized machinery, equipment, and tools used in power plant repair and maintenance.
