Job summary

Kelley Williamson Co. in Huntley, IL, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and provide employee leadership while delivering excellent customer service.

Our training program develops the skills needed to uphold top-quality products, maintain store standards, and support the Station Manager. Candidates should have 1–3 years of prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant, with flexibility for various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant
• Ability to back-up and support the Station Manager
• Good oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and handle complaints
• Assist in training, developing, and managing station employees
• Assist in cash handling, inventory, and pricing changes
• Ensure station and surrounding areas are clean and appealing, with a safe work and buying environment
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Complete accurate and timely paperwork as directed by Manager
• Communicate with Manager regarding all aspects of the job
• Maintain security measures as required
